Steve Anderson

Board President & Chair, Clean Energy Supplier Alliance; President/CEO at Meier Architecture & Engineering (Retired)

Steve Anderson

Steve is the President and Board Chair of the Clean Energy Supplier Alliance. In this role, he provides Board direction to the Alliance’s Chief Executive Officer and works with its members to create business opportunities. Steve served as President of the Alliance’s predecessor organization, the Tri-Cities Business Association, before it began doing business as the Clean Energy Supplier Alliance in 2022. He has been a Tri-City resident since 1981 and spent the majority of his professional career with Meier Architecture & Engineering. In 2016 he retired from Meier, where he served as President for the preceding 10 years. Steve has provided leadership within the community with service on the Board of Directors for the Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) Foundation, which helped start Delta High School. Also, he was appointed to the Washington State Community Economic Revitalization Board by the Governor’s office, where he served for seven years, the last two years as board chair. He is currently a member of the Hanford Advisory Board (HAB).

Meghan Rose

Meghan Rose, Founder and President of Iron Mountain Management, is a communications consultant, entrepreneur, human resources subject matter expert, interview coach, proposal manager, and workshop facilitator. Her expertise blends technical knowledge, business strategy, political acumen, patience, ethics, and accuracy to solve problems and achieve strategic and tactical objectives. A talented communicator, her superhero strength is translating difficult technical concepts and complex ideas into something that can be broadly understood. She also excels at helping others communicate effectively. Meghan is an experienced project manager, team-building expert, and business strategist. She leads teams of experts across diverse disciplines—including engineering, construction, research and development, human resources, and technical and marketing communications—to engage diverse stakeholder groups and gain strategic buy-in; develop plans and manage organizational change; develop engineering designs (conceptual to final) and provide engineering support during construction; respond to requests for proposals (valued from $250K–$3B); write, edit, and format client deliverables. Meghan graduated from Portland State University with a B.S., Political Science, Community Development. She is also a Project Management Professional, certified by the Project Management Institute.

Dan Tyler

Dan serves as the Secretary & Treasurer of the Clean Energy Supplier Alliance Board. He served as Secretary & Treasurer of the Alliance’s predecessor organization, the Tri-Cities Local Business Association, before it began doing business as the Clean Energy Supplier Alliance in 2022. Dan recently retired as Founder/Chairman at Freestone Environmental Services, a multi-discipline environmental and water resources consulting firm founded in 1998, where he was President for more than 20 years. Before Freestone, Dan worked as the Environmental Engineering Group Manager for CH2M HILL, Senior Scientist at Westinghouse Hanford Company, and as a Hydrologist with Carr Associates. Dan started his career as an Environmental Engineer/Scientist at Tetra Tech in Alaska. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Science from Purdue University, graduate studies in Resource Planning at Oregon State University, and a Master of Science in Earth Resources – Water Resources & Hydrology from Colorado State University.

Kathy Miller

Kathy Miller

Kathy is responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of Polestar Technical Services, Inc. (Polestar). She provides leadership to execute the corporate strategy through the development and implementation of the company’s business plan, which reflects the longer-term objectives and priorities to achieve profitable growth and successful operation of the company. Kathy started her career in the nuclear industry in 1993 at the PUREX Facility at Hanford, supporting engineering, work control and operations. She has almost 30 years of experience working in various federal and commercial nuclear operating environments, from manufacturing and operations to deactivation and decommissioning, as well as all aspects of business operations, including contracts, finance, and project controls. Kathy is a skilled facilitator for conducting team building, strategy planning and organizational improvement workshops, leading large-scale change management and work process re-design projects. She has implemented Conduct of Operations, performed readiness assessments and requirements-based assessments, as well as life-cycle strategies and planning. Kathy has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business from Washington State University.

Michael Scrimsher

Michael has 31 years of experience in the commercial nuclear fuel fabrication industry at the Framatome Richland Fuel manufacturing site and its predecessor companies, management of Uranium related supply, storage, and inventory in support of nuclear fuel fabrication for commercial nuclear plants in the USA, Asia, and Europe with responsibility for other Uranium related recovery processes, and miscellaneous functions at the Richland manufacturing site. His previous professional experience included coordinating metrology, precision measurement and photogrammetry in the commercial and military aerospace industry, working on the B-2 Stealth Bomber and the Boeing 777, 767, 757 and 747 models, and other classified programs from 1985 to 1991. Since 1995, he has served as a school board member for the Columbia Burbank School District, and his roles have included chair, vice chair and legislative representative. Steve also served on the Board of Junior Achievement of the Greater Tri-Cities from 2002 to 2011. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering from BYU Provo.

Dave McCormack

Dave McCormack has 45 years of technical, management, and executive experience in developing businesses/business development and providing services to government and commercial clients. He established McCormack Consulting in April 2018 and provides strategic direction, risk assessment and other consulting services. Previously, as President of Dade Moeller & Associates. During his 13 years with Dade Moeller, he also served as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Business Development. Before joining Dade Moeller, Dave worked for nine years with CH2M HILL, seven years with Foster Wheeler Environmental, 13 years with Battelle at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, and two years with Stone and Webster Engineering. His responsibilities broadly encompassed the fields of health physics, safety analysis, and environmental, occupational and operational safety. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Oregon State University.
